Being a member of EUROPARC Atlantic Isles means that you are part of a lively and growing network.  Our members bring with them a huge amount of expertise and experience.

 

Cotswold landscapeAs a Section of the EUROPARC Federation, it's a unique organisation - offering direct access to to European collleagues in our sister Sections in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Nordic-Baltic, the Czech Republic and Serbia-Montenegro (click on the 'Links' tab above to find out more).  It gives everyone who works for and with these special areas a chance to be part of this bigger, continental picture.  As well as our working Groups and Seminar programmes, EUROPARC Atlantic Isles facilitates strong links with a set of ongoing programmes including the Charter for Sustainable Tourism, European Junior Ranger Programme and the Natura Network Initiative (to find out more, visit the Federation website).

Membership of EUROPARC Atlantic Isles is open to all.  We currently have 68 organisations and individual members.  Different rates apply if you are a government agency, a National Park Authority, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a Regional Park or equivalent, an NGO or an individual. EAI Sustainable Tourism Network Meeting The next meeting of the EAI Sustainable Tourism Network will be hosted by Clwydian Range AONB on the 17th November 09. We'll be discussing all things related to protected landscapes and sustainable tourism, especially the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas.
Full details of our next seminar, 3-4 November 2009 Our next seminar will be in Edinburgh, and is entitled 'Managing landscapes: more outcomes, less outputs'. The 3rd will be spent with colleagues at Pentland Hills Regional Park, and on the 4th we have speakers from Norway, the Netherlands, Germany and Ireland, as well as from the Scottish Executive, Cairngorms NPA and Lomond Hills RP.
