9th May, 2014

EUROPARC Atlantic Isles

warmly invites members to our next webinar on

The EU LIFE Programme

at 10h00 – 11h30 BST, on Thursday 5th June 2014

What’s the webinar about?

The national contact point for the LIFE programme in the UK, Catherine Holt of Beta Technology, will present a comprehensive overview of the new EU Life programme that runs from 2014-20.

To complement this, Chris Dean, Partnership Manager, and Matt Buckler, Programme Manager for Conservation and Land Management, from the Moors for the Future LIFE project in the Peak District National Park, will provide an overview of the project’s aims, objectives and activities. They will also consider how LIFE projects help to deliver EU and UK policy objectives, give insights on partnership working, as well as consider the challenges for protected landscapes in applying for a LIFE Project.

How will I benefit from the webinar?

You will have the opportunity to share in perspectives from UK experts on the EU’s LIFE programme and to consider the opportunities that it can offer to protected landscapes. You will also have the chance to ask questions!

Who should take part?

Colleagues from statutory agencies, national parks, AONBs, other protected landscapes, NGOs and anyone with an interest in EU funding opportunities for the environment.
