2026/27 UK Government’s Connect Fund

Funded by UK Government’s Connect fund, this Landscapes Northern Ireland and EUROPARC Atlantic Isles partnership is a programme consisting of three exchange visits between protected landscapes in Northern Ireland and England, Scotland and Wales.

Its aim is to support the benefits of cross border networking and learning by bringing young people together who work for or are ambassadors within protected landscapes. Promoting personal development, learnings and collaborative working to create a UK wide “Youth Manifesto for Landscapes” that can be launched with all 4 environment ministers in each jurisdiction.

Applications are now open for young people in protected areas in England, Scotland and Wales to visit the Causeway Coast and Glens and attend the Landscapes Northern Ireland 2026 conference in Ballycastle between 17 and 21 October 2026.

Closing date 10 Sept 2026.
