Spring diary dates!

There are several events in the spring that will be of interest to EAI members and partner organisations:

  • Sheffield, 2 April 2012: The Campaign for National Parks and the Friends of the Peak District are holding a workshop on visitor payback schemes.
  • Brockholes, Lancashire, 26 April 2012: The IUCN-UK National Committee will be hosting its annual conference on the theme of UK Protected Areas – Natural Solutions.
  • Langho, Lancashire, 1 May 2012: The Forest of Bowland AONB is holding the Bowland Symposium on Sustainable Tourism. An integral part of the programme will be EAI’s Charter Networking Meeting.
  • Gilwell Park, Chingford, 21-23 May 2012: EAI is hosting a train the trainers seminar for volunteer coordinators as part of the Grundtvig-funded Volunteer Management in European Parks project.
  • Westminster, 24 May 2012: On this, the European Day of Parks, EAI is holding a networking event and seminar on volunteering and citizens’ engagement.
